Moses got his teeth done

Moses got his teeth done yesterday and all went wonderful! Vet said his teeth were like Shark's teeth there were so many points and they were so sharp and horrible. He is only missing one tooth so that is good news! However he will continue on a pellet diet as that is easiest and best for him. He has gained some weight and strength already but now that his teeth are done we hope to see even more weight coming. All Good news for Moses who is happily eating as usual :)

Moses in his blankie.... its a bit small for him you can see some hiney hanging out but keeps him warm and cozy for now til we can get him a new bigger one. Moses needs your help to get his teeth done our vet said $135 to $200 depending how bad they are...thinkin we need to budget on the higher side as his teeth are really BAD!!

Moses update & Pics of His Goat Friend

Guess what Moses is doing?? Eating lol .....He LOVES to eat and I am soooo glad that he is interested in eating!!!! He is really itchy and scratchy and we were hoping to give him a bath today but its windy and a bit cooler today sooooooo with no meat on those bone to keep him warm I decided not a good day for that....so sorry Moses is gonna have to be itchy for a few more days but he will get a good brushing in the meantime...:(  I will be sure to post pictures once we are able to give him a bath and he is a pretty and clean.  

Oh forgot to post a picture of Moses' adorable little goat friend who was also at the shelter and they allowed her to come home with him. She is now named Belle... just the most adorable little girl you ever did meet. We were informed also she was in with an un-neutered male sooo she most likely is pregnant. You will have to stay tuned to see how this one turns out in a month or so.

Moses Comes Home to Under the Angel's Wings Rescue

Moses is a 30+ year old Gelding who was found wandering near some apartments abandoned in Bakersfield. He was held at the shelter to see if his owners would step up to claim him but seeing how emaciated he was it was obvious no one coming.

So the trip for Moses began on Saturday March 5, 2011 he has several Angels all helping to make his move happen! There were many people who stepped up to donate funds for gas to help get him home here to UAWR. We also must say THANK YOU to Lisa and Trevor for hauling him to us and a BIG THANK YOU also to Mary who has donate to help feed sweet Moses.

We could not have done this without all of you to help this sweet guy!!
